Is a tune required for intake spacers and VIAS plate?

Ive got a spark plug job coming up pretty quick and i want to do a spacer kit and VIAS plate, however if i need a tune to really see any gains from it then i won't bother.
I figured this has already been covered in another thread, but I searched for a while and found nothing conclusive. Thanks

Not required in my opinion. The primary effect of the spacers is to reduce the temperature of the intake charge. The vias plate removal will allow for a freer (if that's even a word) flow between the upper and lower plenums. I believe the cumulative effect is within the bounds of the factory metering capabilities. No need for an aftermarket AF ratio management system.

There will probably be some of the opinion that a AFR and tune would help, and I would agree, but I do not feel it is necessary and gains would not be substantial.

What the above two posts stated. I'd wait until you dive deeper into the modifications before you tune. Tunes are most effective when there's a lot done.

Ditto that question. Last week, Brian Catts told me he sells the NWP spacer kit, but at the same price as if bought through NWP directly.

So... what sale?

I was just talking about the sale on the NWP website, $199 instead of $225. I heard somewhere that the $199 price was somewhat temporary.

Oh... nice! I see that now.

Bad timing for me, however. If I pull that trigger, it won't be for a few months.

$199... go for it!

looks like the $199 is just for the intake spacer kit, the plate is extra
