Fog Light Replacement. Need Help/Advice

I know this is probably a repeat thread but im looking for a direct answer and if anyone can help, or guide me to a specialized thread that would be great.

I bought my 2002 Max and it had non-OEM fogs in it that dont even fit the car (looks horrible). The worked fine until i took a few rocks to my fogs, and now they are history. I need new fogs, and dont want to pay the $170 fee for new Nissan OEM ones if i dont have to.

Can anyone help me??? What should i do? any good replacements out there?

I know there was a thread about these (http://www.k2motor.com/lf-max02coem.html) and never heard if anyone tried them out. It it worth saving the $70?

Any help is appreciated. Once again sorry for being a repeat thread, feel free to bash if necessary. Thanks!

I am in the same boat as you. I just bought a '02 GLE fully loaded with 117k for about 5400$ and the only thing wrong is that both fogs are cracked and need to be replaced. I've been searching up ebay and found some that are about $50 a piece but I just looked at your link and those look very nice. I think I might end up picking those up as soon I as replace my tires.

do yourself a favor and get a HID foglight set up. I burn through H3 bulbs about every 4 months and I am about to get HIDs as I hear they last a crap ton longer.

i have 8k, it's deadly in the rain, 8k has more blue than white(personal experience)

different HID makers might have different ingredients in their bulbs.

For a person with no experience with cars, would it be easy to set the HID kit up?

1. you need the kit that gets power from stock socket, stay away from the ones that get power from battery.

2. make sure it's plug and play(which most are).

3. if it's for fog lights, make sure it's H3 mini, not regular H3 bulbs.

hope that helps and if you ever run into problems, just ask.

I wasn't an org member when I did this mod but this was only about $120 for the foglight kit!
