Looks good. Another guy here in town did the same with his sterling mist Max. Did you clearcoat?

the new look is a lot better than the before look. As an alternative to buying SE tail lights I think the paint job is sweet. However...I do like the SE tail lights more b/c they have more depth to them b/c the "weave-ish" black material is on the inside of the housing and not just a spray on the outside

lls, im still in the process of removing the maxima sticker, it was just getting late and i had to pick my girldfriend up so i had to pause for the day, i like it painted better, i didnt like the fact that you can see through the 2K SE taillights... the lines are just about as good as a human will get em unless the make a machine to cut tape on a headlights then i dont think there was much more to do... i love em... i look out the window every 5mins.......... someone ask what other mods, the car is 4 months old, and my mods are in my sig, i just recently got lowered plus i have extra lowering springs that im probebly gonna cut and i have some G35 18's and 8K headlights and 8K high beams

Thanks fellas. How we did these lights:
Clean the light.
Tape everything off.
Lightly scuff with 3M golds pad or about 800 ish sandpaper making sure all the shine is taken off .
Clean with alcohol.
Single coat plastic adhesion promoter.
2 coats solid black basecoat.
2 coats clearcoat. All sherwin williams auto paints so the finish on the lights will outlast the paint on the car.

The overlay is pretty much a red sticker. Those go on like tint .Wetting with decal solution and laying the film on top.Squeeging from the center on out. Then trimming with a fresh razor.

Also the glue on the back will smear all over the pace if not carefull.

tails came out great. IMO all red would look better on the pebble beige. but the paint job is fantastic, great craftsmanship

- That was over a year ago when I met Squirrel. And by then I had them on my car for a year or two before that.

Wasn't my idea though. A buddy of mine came up with them BEFORE BluBatmobile started mass producing them for every car/light under the sun.
