Magic sponges

Does anyone know if using a magic sponge to get bugs off car does anything to your paint? It works great!

If its anything like a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser I would not use it on my cars glossy finish. It seems to have some abrasiveness to it like a very fine sandpaper. Ive used them to polish plastic headlights though.

Semi-abrasive sponge that works to remove crayon marks, and such from walls and other hard to clean surfaces.
