As far as I know, the headers are the same, but the 4th and 5th gen headers have an EGR port that will have to be plugged if you put them on a 5.5gen.

At least that's the case with the 5th gen headers, it may be different for the 4th gens though.

The 4th gen doesnt have a big a$$ precat coming off the exhaust manifold.

But now that i think about it i have 3.0 manifolds on the 3.5

Well, I'm pretty sure the Cattman headers are exactly the same, minus the EGR port, so they should dyno pretty much the same.

The stock 3.5 headers have precats in them...stock 3.0 ones have it in the y-pipe. And yeah 02-03 3.5's didn't come with EGR.

More like...

3.5 - precat in both manifolds
3.0 5th gen CALI - front manifold precat, rear y pipe precat (w/EGR on earlier 2000's)
3.0 5th gen FED - precat both in y pipe (w/EGR)
3.0 4th gen - precat both in y pipe (w/EGR)
