Odd tranny fluid experience

I got a long trip coming up so I change to MT-90. Bolts took me 45 mins to budge open. Possibly the only tranny fluid change since day 1 lol.

Odd part: put in 3 quarts of MT-90 and BARELY noticed oozing fluid. It might even be my imagination. I stuck my finger in but what is that going to do really. I just want to make sure its ok to drive.

Oozing fluid from where? The fill plug? You should fill the tranny until it's filled to the bottom of the fill plug. You stick your finger in to see if the fluid is indeed up to the bottom of the fill plug opening.

yeah i did and i felt a little fluid I THINK. And yes obviously from the fill plug, since I put the drain plug back on. But why did it take 3 quarts? I'm going to check the level one last time then I'm taking a test drive....

edit: anything I should really pay attention to besides smooth shifts and noises...

i saw a couple drips come out I think. The 6sp is only suppose to use around 2.5 quarts. I just took a nice drive and it seemed fine. Guess I just freaked out.....
