A/C issue

Yesterday finished up with the stereo install. buttoned everything back up and now A/C only blows Hot air. You can hear the pump come on. you can hear the clutch ingage when you push the ac button. all wires in the back of the control unit read out everything looks like its plugged in. I cleaned out the slide to make sure the points were getting contact. any other ideas? Its a 2003 SE if that helps. and Its not refrigerant as it was blowing cold before we took out the stereo and replaced wires.
Thanks.

My guess is there is something wrong with the wiring to the A/C control unit and/or the unit itself is bad. I would begin by checking power to that unit. If there is power, then the unit would need to be replaced.

If the A/C compressor is running and it was fine and cold before you did this then I would assume that there is something wrong with the temp control in the car.

Even though you are running the A/C your heat is on putting hot coolant into the heat exchanger. So you are getting hot A/C.
