2k1 Motor mount option...

Hey guys, before I drop my engine & A/T back in, I'm wondering what are the option for engine mount ? I have a 2k1 SE, and I have nicely painted my engine mount so I'd like to keep those and maybe just replace the soft rubber inside. Any idea would be greatly appreciate as the install day is approaching rapidly.

Thanks for any heads up.

you can use urethane but you would have to make a spacer to compensate for the larger AT mount's. I made a thread for this a while ago. Easier way would be to buy 5mt/6mt mounts from a 95-03 and put urethane in those

Hi, thanks for the info. I found your thread and post there. Basically I called Brian Catts from Cattman Performance 5 min ago and order a set of ES Motor Mount bushing.

I'm going to make a custom sleeve that will hold the ES bushing and then I will just need to slide the sleeve in the motor mount and tack weld with a tig welder. This way I'll just have to make touch up paint on my motor mount.

Thanks for the great info.
