Im currently running 350Z touring wheels and 245/45zr18 Nitto 555's and I can stop rubbing on the passengers side. (not to steal your thread) but can anyone give me advice from experience what to do??

But for your situation i think the size is going to give you problems no matter what.

Probably the first thing to do is roll the wheel wells.

No. I have 245/45/18 and I rub bad. I am lowered but you will still rub. The 245/50/18 is MUCH larger in diameter than the stock tire.

I have 225/45/18 in front, 245/45/18 in rear. I rubbed once but that was a dip on the highway going about 100. but other then that i never feel rubbing much on my H-techs.

I would personally go with 235/45/18 front and 255 or 265/35-40/18 in the rear.

im runnin 245/45/18 on stock suspension
the fronts are fine, no rubbing, but the rears rub when i go over a bump with passengers in the back, nothing too bad tho

as others have said, 245/50 are not recommended

Just run 245/40/18...these are closer to what you should be running! Those 245/50/18 aspect ratio is so large that you can't help but rub...and to those with the stock suspension it'll rub since the dampening is softer!

This question is asked every time someone mentions they're getting Z rims. Well the answer is; because we can. Do you really spend your time looking to see if the Z rims on the Maxima's you come across are all the same size? Get a life; I have my wider wheels on the front this very minute.

Not to mention that no one is going to notice the difference. Plus, with the rears being sunken in stock, wider rears actually fill out the well and make it more even. Which, actually gives it a better look.

No hating unless you have a valid argument against it.

are they 245/45 all around????

i just picked them up. i cant wait to put em on tomorrow.
alot of people missed my second post CORRECTING the first, they are actually 245/45/18 and 225/45/18
im thinking of putting the fat ones in the front...better traction and such...though im not sure, im having a hard time deciding where to place the fat ones...

It will not rub with 245/45, it's virtually impossible with stock suspension. I have it right now and there's no way I could make it rub unless I weighted the car down with several hundred pounds and even then only the back would rub.

You can put the 245s in front but it just makes the front look more offset. Some 20mm rear spacers would do the trick though. Those should be mandatory for these damn things. Nissan was hittin the crack pipe on some of these designs.
