Stumped!!!! NO horn No Steering wheel controls SRS light

Now this weekend my brother and I replaced the rack and pinion on my 03 maxima...At first I thought my SRS light was flashing maybe due to low voltage to the ecu from me leaving the key in the ignition over night and waking up to a dead battery...But after I jumped it and tried the SRS reset procedure a couple times and checking the fuses I went for a drive and attempted to press the button to change the CD track(after I did some parking lot figure eights and a highway run) and it didnt budge. So I came home and troubleshoot it some more and noticed that my horn doesnt work niether...Im stumped as to what to look at next... any suggestions?

*edit*
The only interior work that was needed was to remove the 3 nuts that hold the steering column right behind the pedal.

You must have unplugged or damaged the harness going to the steering column?
