License Plate lights won't light up

Today I replaced my bulbs on my license plate light bulbs, and they still wont turn on. I looked at another thread about this and found that they said to look at the fuses. I took out every fuse nothing there all good. Any suggestions? I was thinking it could be a short but I don't know were the short could be.

This is the other thread I was talking about that told me to check the fuses.

What is a text light? And how would I check for power?

He means a test light. Just check all the fuses. Have you checked under the hood as well?

Yes I have checked every fuse, the trunk that I have on there isn't from my car I swapped it for one with a spoiler but all the plugs snapped together. I just don't understand why its not working, but I never checked to see if it worked when I swapped it.

Did you get the polarity right? Not sure if you added LED bulbs, but they are polarity-sensitive and won't light up. Take them out and turn them around (180 degrees) then back in.

Alright today I will switch around the Leds and see if I have the polarity wrong. If not how would I make the new ground I have every bit of my trunk covered in dynomatt.

I found the problem, and it was the ground. I had to run a small wire but I ran it to my amp ground that I had and it works great now.

Its only temporary untill I find another spot to put it, I will probably end up puting it on the trunk latch.
