ABS Issues

About two weeks ago I replaced all four tires on my car and while driving home the abs started to make noise like I was skidding and it was trying to do it's thing. It happened for about two days and then went away for the last week and a half or so.
I took my car out today and when I went to stop the abs braking started to act up. It was making all kinds of noise like I was on ice.
It is doing it most of the time when I brake now and it was even doing it a bit when I was driving and not on the brake pedal.
The ABS light is not on and I have yet to see it.
Does anyone have any idea what I should be looking for, I'm afraid of the stealership...
It's an 05 Maxima SE

One of the ABS wires may be loose and rubbing somewhere. Happened to me a while ago.

Check all the ABS sensors, take them off, clean them with brake cleaner and put them back. You need to clean the sensors every so often since they are magnetic and catch metallic grime.

Be nice to the sensor when putting it back, tighten to 5 lbs.

Thanks for the responses, I will take the wheels off and have a look.
How involved is it to clean the sensors. Is there any pictures or other info on here in regards to this issue?
I did a search and didn't find all that much for the 05 model.

I had to change both my ABS sensors in the rear because my mechanic damaged them both. Solved all my problems and the ABS light went away.
