im having a clunking sound and im not sure what it can be...
I just changed my struts and outer tie rods... boths sides
on the stablizer links are they suppose to be any play??
what could it be??
control arm bushing??
Link Ends
Inner tie rod
The sound happens when only when i dip into a pot hole or a bump

Most likely is your sway bar end links. They are about $20 each from Advance (Moog). Easy to get to...often not easy to get loose. My recommendation would be to soak them with PB Blaster for a day before trying to break the bolts loose.

on the end links.
Changing those is what rid my car of the clunking noise

I agree with the end link diagnosis but since you just did some work in the area it could be any number of things.

my sound was motor mounts. hit a bump and sound like a loose suspension component. changed struts, endlinks, swaybar bushings but still had the noise (car did drive much better tho). changed the front and rear motor mounts.... voila. front one was bad, cracked and liquid dripping out.

Absolutely. Solid polyurethane mount inserts for the manual transmission. Don't know about the automatic... I believe there's a difference. Search for a while and you'll figure it all out.

The ES mount inserts are fantastic. The car is totally planted now on the launch. Say goodbye to wheel-hop.

My clunky sound turned out to be both my ball joints. A mechanic who did my whole change said there both about to fall out. The car always makes that noise even after you fix it so I just run it until it breaks.

What could cause this very loud intermittent dull clunking sound from my rear suspension that has occurred from new in April 2002? Since it is intermittent and does not occur most of the time, I never bothered to have it checked under warranty. Since then, I had it checked by a dealer who found no problem. When it occurs, it happens when going over bumps such as railroad tracks and speed bumps.

Sounds like possibly blown struts, or a wheel bearing could be shot? Rear suspension should be fairly easy to diagnose at a reliable shop with a lift
