Sure. That's another good idea, although for a rusty surface it's hard to beat POR-15. Not sure how well PlastiDip would adhere.
It really doesn't matter, either, because if you ever had to disassemble everything, you'd be laying the torch to that nut anyway.

I was misled by this thread title--I thought I'd find a way to turn these huge MODA caps into Nissan ones on my new wheelz. But, alas, the centercap.net website thing seems like it would be an expensive gambit.

It's no big mystery. I'm coming up on 10 years of ownership, and I'm done modding it as far as I want to go with this car. It's time for something better is all.
10 years man... I'd say I've put in my time with the car. I've certainly done right by it, and have more than payed-forward to the next owner.
