Did you have any issues putting the rubber seal back in the door frame channel at all? Some people reported having a hard time doing so.

You will have to take a set of pliers and pinch them to put the clamps back, the TSB instructs you to do this. I did and it went back the same way, snug and fit. The window will shove the seal tight.

I think I'll have another go at this...the stripping I got was 3/4" wide and 5/16" thick, and actually made my wind noise worse. Guess I'll try some 3/8" wide.

Do not be afraid to just shove that strip in there. It will look tight but the whole point is to seal that area where the leak is coming from.

Worse case, just yank them out if they do not work and try again. You have 10 feet of foam to fool around with.

I went to 2 different "wallyworld", a HD, and Lowe looking for a size 3/8" wide and 5/16" thick and finally found it. Hope it all goes well when I install it!

Just tried it and I "think" the wind noise is gone. HOWEVER, the exhaust drone sounds louder than ever. Wind noise down = drone sounds up?

Is there any pictures for this? Direct link with what new discoveries have been found to use/place/pull/etc

What about the materials and tools? That in with the link?

Also when viewing the write up on the link, I'm assuming it will be the same procedure for all the doors

On the previous page 2 there is a link for the updated TSB, posted by me, which has the procedure clearly outlined and there is also a picture of the 3/8" foam that seems to work the best posted by Mandyfig.
The procedure applies to both the rear doors.

The plastic also doesn't fit as well as it use to, there is a very small cm gap between the plastic and the window frame now. Maybe I sealed the wrong area?

Check the TSB it is specific on what you need to do.

I have the same problem...the TSB shows the seal as super flexible, actually sagging in the drawing.

It isn't.

The TSB showed you a condition that is NG. Means you did not do it correctly. Also means you have to re-do.

I followed the instructions on the website from shiftice ... everything should be at the right place. Pliers were used to push the gaps in. I'll take some pictures this weekend.

It's not hard to figure out but its trying to understand and apply what it is the bulletin is saying and perform this correctly. Does Nissan Stearlership take care of TSB's or no?

I am sure Nissan can do it for you. Go ask them, whether it is free (depends on you warranty status) or not.

I agree the updated TSB is better but still GRAY. I just had to do a trial and error. So far I think it worked for me. Then again, I can be wrong, I could have just imagined it got better.

Go and sit in the back while somebody's driving (which I did) and find out if you can still hear that hissing sound after TSB.

I just did this yesterday!! I can't tell you what a difference it made in my car. I did all of the car doors. I'm wondering if there are any more places I can seal up. I couldn't believe the difference on the highway. I was able to talk on the car's bluetooth without the person on the other line complaining about the noise and I was able to hear them without much effort. I used Frostking Rubber Foam from Home Depot. 3/4" wide and 7/16" thick. The cost? $3.98.

I have to do the sunroof next. Did you get the shims from the dealer or did you use regular washers? How many did you use?
