Man I forgot all about that comment . 'Roch & Erty', definitely like it, could be a lot of things

And I never did post pics of my decals. My tints in the back were so dark that my camera couldn't pick it up (it's an old school digital)

I think the duo of "Roch & Erty" would end up being more like "Penn & Teller"! Since 'Roch' does the commentary, 'Erty' does the magic. (I've met 'Erty', he doesn't talk much.)

While I appreciate all the complimentary comments, Bob, the previous image you posted is not the final image that you purchased from Ed. That graphic was part of the work-in-progress.
This graphic here is the final image:
Also, this is a derivative work... hardly original. It was based on the pre-production 7th Gen decal, as seen in the bottom of this picture here:

True enough. But that's exactly why I like just the 4DSC logo. It's a mystery to those who don't know Maxima heritage.

Thanks for that info. The Maxima/ZCar heritage is so intertwined and convoluted it's confusing. But it still serves to substantiate the Maxima's 4 Door Sports Car (4DSC) claim to fame.
The Maxima name was introduced in 1981. It was a Japanese-market Bluebird 910 and used the (240Z derived) L24I-6 engine. The (280Z/280ZX) L28I-6 engine wasn't available in the Maxima.
The 280ZX retained the (280Z derived) L28I-6 engine, used suspension similar to the Bluebird 910, and shared the chassis. So the 280ZX was based more on the Maxima design vs. the other way around.

Since the 4DSC decal here is my own (derivative ) design, and those 4 little characters are somewhat innocuous, I thought to try it out on my G37. I mean, let's face it... aside from marketing ownership of the tagline, between a G37S Sedan 6MT and the Nissan Maxima, which one is truly the 4-door sports car?
However, I quickly discovered that decals on the inside of a tinted window are virtually invisible from the outside. I tried silver, then I tried white... and both were barely there.
And then erty67 sent me a couple he called "etched", which is a light, translucent silver, for the outside of the window. While I'm not too thrilled with an exterior decal, I have to admit, it looks pretty good.
Well, to me at least. And it's my car.
Here are some pics. Notice the camera in the chrome trim.

Contact erty67. IDK if the etched vinyl is any more expensive than the standard stuff, but he's only asking $1/ea for the original stickers, so...
And it's always a good idea to order more than you need, in case you screw up the application, or it rips down the road. Back-ups are a good thing.
