Brake problems

So i see its that time of year that my max chooses to fail on me... multiple problems happening every other day... first my exhaust starts hanging, startup problem (gotta tap the gas pedal on startup), fog light wire actually breaks in two (IDK how the hell that happens)... my main problem is my breaks, so i went to chill with a couple of fellow orgers at the track, and on my way out we decided to hit up Mcdonalds, soon as im pulling in i hit the breaks (pads and rotors are already bad) all the sudden a quick snap and the break pedal went slam to the floor, had to pass the turn and use the E-break... managed to roll home, after installing my powerstop rotors and pads i noticed the lines had a small leak but that wasnt the problem, it only leaked once but i've been driving like that for two days now and i still have break fluid, spoke to kingjames and he was saying possibly the master cyl... anybody care to chime in??? i have to press the pedal about all the way down to even slow down...

Either air got into the brake line or bad master cylinder. Have you bleed your brake fluid yet?

You have a cracked hose? A good place to start would be to replace it and bleed. Your master is probably ok.
What do you mean by, "pads and rotors are bad?" Are you grinding m/m? Did you blow out your caliper? Need more info Hustler.

2nd i'd say check/replace that line

Quite obviously, post count means nothing in terms of knowledge.

Here's a little tid-bit for you to chew on:
If brake fluid has leaked out, air has leaked in.

You're driving around in a time bomb, for which YOU are libel for.

....except switch 1 and 2. If you bleed them first, you will need to bleed them again when you replace that line.

Yo dude relax.

If you're just realizing this then obviously there's a problem here. Maxima.org is full of cheap bastards and smartasses.

But there are people with more than enough knowledge. Anyways, get SS brake lines, install accordingly and fill with brake fluid.

EDIT: Maxima.org isn't a bad forum. Look at the people who actually make contributions. They do a lot for the board and for a car that doesn't have a Honda Civic-like amount of parts available for it. Yet there's a lot of innovation here for cars that may be looked upon only as grocery getters by other people. And compared to even the 350Z boards I think there's a higher proportion of innovative minds here than there.

Why would Midas charge "300 plus" to check them?

I dont know about the $300 but I believe only the snap on scanners or the consult II can check those lights.Maybe some other higher end scanners.

Midas is pretty expensive when it comes to having work done by them. They wanted to charge me $286 for re surfacing the rotors, flush of break fluid and caliper silde service.
