Ebay Housings...Which HID's?

Have a quick question that I couldn't resolve via a search. I have ebay projectors similar to 02-03 housings, but they plug right into my 2001 wiring (via the 3-pronged black molex connector). If I want to buy a plug-and-play HID kit for them, do I buy a 9003 kit that was designed for a 2000-2001, or a different sized bulb?

you have to buy the bulb that is in your current light. if im not mistaken if you have the projector the bulb is h7 if you have the regular the bulb is 9006. just buy the kit. then plug and play...

edit. you do have the projectors lol.. so is the h7 bulb.

Most likely, your projectors use H3 bulbs. If you put in a H3 HID Kit you will not be able to use your high beam. If you want to use your low and high beam with those headlights, you will need to make a custom harness. You can check out my write-up. My retrofit project is complete. Haven't had a chance to post pics yet.

I know my ebay projectors use H3 for low beam (the projector) and H1 for the high beam (reflector)

808max is right in that you wont be able to use your highbeam and you will need to make a custom harness.

An H3 HID kit will be plug and play in the sense that the power will come from the existing 3-hole harness.
