I like the idea of Pre-Cat delete pipes. something with a smooth design. It deletes the precats but it goes from the precats down to the main cat. Sort of headers with out the header! Everybody needs a weighted shift ****. I took mine apart and shoved lead fishing weights in every nook and cranny I could find it actually take some of the notchy feeling away.

Easy?...easy enough for you to do? Maybe.

But it has to be profitable.

yeh...you know how cheap some Maxima owners can be......they would rather buy $300 headers you have to cut and weld in rather than pay $800 for a direct fit.

coming from a 97 avalon w/ the 1mz, i'd LOVE a roots style s/c. I installed the trd kit on my 97 avalon (yea, a dealer option to boost camrys/solaras/siennas, they list sienna but not avalon lmao) and in all honesty, it's somewhat basic. the idler plates and pulleys reroute the belts around the motor mount and the eaton m62 just replaces the whole upper intake and bolts onto the lower. there's a guy on the solara boards that took the trd kit idea, and did it with a magnuson mp90 s/c. the power gains are ridiculous for the 3.0, i can't imagine how it'd be with our vq considering my 6spd vq35 is as fast as a 5spd solara at 4psi..

it was a fairly simply install considering i was only 17 and did it with the help of my gf and a friend who knew nothing about cars lol. some "eye candy" for those visual guys..

this roots style woudl be a lot to come up with, but production itself shouldn't be too hard considering the 2 custom things would be idler plates/pulleys and bolting the upper to the lower, or we can even go the comptech acura route (but i like bolting onto the upper more, surprisingly a lot of people miss the s/c when i popped the hood)

this is mainly for us 5.5+ guys since you fancy vq30 guys have the vortech

Easy meaning the same guy that built MY 3 1/2'' cat-back said he could copy my hotshot headers to the T. for around 350-400 range, sell them at $600 thats $200 profit. If hotshots could build and sell a qaulity header for $600 i don't see why no one else could

A friend of mine had to send his obx headers to get them cut and re welded. The front header flange ran right into the oil pan.

I would like to see a set of engine/trans poly bushings already pressed in to some nice stainess or aluminum housings.
