His thread with the 12.58 ET and nearly 110 mph trap is in the drag section. Those numbers can't be too far off considering the track times.

I went down to MD yesterday to pick up an SSIM and 350z injectors from datdude20 and got to ride in jat_pee's beast. HOLY $HIT does that thing move!!! Most important thing, I think, is the driver mod. Seriously, he shifts that thing soooo well it makes me look like I'm a first time stick shift driving granny shifting gear grinding mother ******!

Yeah, I'm def going to need to work on my driver mod before I match his times! I can still hop in someone else's 6-speed and pick up .5 off their best ET, so I'm getting there!

Especially with our crappy shifter setup. Cable shifters suck! I keep going back and forth between the short shifter and stock. With the short shifter installed, I can shift slightly faster (ultimately), but miss gears more often b/c it's so hard to get it into gear while under load. Maybe a WOT box would help even on a N/A car for us since it'd make it way easier to engage the next gear.

I can shift just as fast, but with our aluminum shifter brackets so fragile (I know from experience...=/) I've learned to slow down the shifts a bit. Many people I know on here break their brackets clean in half trying to shift hard n fast at the drag....

The new bracket looks less flimsy, so maybe it will last.

my problem is I hit redline in first gear way too fast. the 06 gear box ratio changes the shifts points and 2nd gear comes in a blink of the eye. Shifting after bouncing off the rev limiter is not very easy either

Do you have gear ratio and final drive comparisons? I was under the impression that the 5.5/6g 6-speeds were the same, and it was the spec V that had higher FD ratios.

Incorrect... TS does auto also... OP 260whp is a tad too much for the mods u have... expect high 240's in if ur lucky low 250's... try this for 260 real easy...
Intake, headers, 3" exhaust, pulley, SSIM, ECU, lightweight flywheel

06 HLSD final drive 4.133 62:15

03 HLSD final drive 3.812 61:16

1st through 6th remain the same, just the final drive was changed
