So I finally got down to doing the belts this morning.

Thankfully all 3 bolts on the PS pump are now loose.

However, I cant get the belt off the P/S pump.

What am I doing wrong??

The back bolt is loose and I can move it with hand.

The long tensioner adjustment bolt is super loose so is the lock nut.

Any pointers?

 

Don't you have to pull the A/C belt off 1st?

 

AC belt is already off.

Infact in the last few minutes I loosened the tensioner adjuster bolt so much that that the bolt and the long bolt are now off the car!

I hv no clue what is going on.

Even with the tensioner bolt off the car the ps belt wont come off... its more loose than it was when i started, but not enough to get it off.

 

Is the belt loose. Put a pry bar on that *****.

 

I guess i can do that...

I was reading on releasing the long bolt the ps pump should lower or something like that.

I already have the back bolt loose and now the assembly that locks the long bolt is off.

Even with that the belt cant be taken off.

I need to atleast get the long bolt back on the car...

What am i doing wrong here

 

Finally freaking belt is OFF!!!

I have to say.... none of the bolts are hard....

Its that bolt that faces the bottom that is the total F**K.

I need to take some pics and put them up....!
