lmfao!!!!! best thread ever!!!! what? sorry off topic but i would never do somethoing that looked ridiculous just to be different.

Its a fact if something really looks good then most will agree and do the same mod. plus who really sees or recognizes my entire stillen kit or 19 inch mille migs with upgraded 6 gen brakes and drilled slotted rotors or drop or cattman exhaust? hahahha noone!! general public has never seen one like mine and everyone always just thinks it looks great and better than a maxima. They ask what kind of car is that? especially girls, car wash attendants and mechanics at oil changing places. "is that a special edition or something i have never seen one like that before."

i dont go to meets and have only actually seen in person one stillen kit in eight years of ownership. Only two with an exhaust and of course countless idiots rimed up with no drop monster trucking it out.

but honestly, do what makes you happy. personally i want what looks best and most classy/current. i know my milles are old and played out, but only on here! at least weekly if not daily someone asks about my rims or car and never has someone been familiar with the stillen kit i have or countless other mods i have done.

go for what looks good and trust me no one is gonna think yours looks like every other maxima cause again 99 percent of people have never even heard of maxima.org let alone saw the stillen kit on another max. you want positive attention, not people pointing and laughing but again do what you like, its your project. i had a 85 iroc z that i put neon in and under hahahahahahahahahahah oh the joy of being young .... good luck

There is nothing wrong with body kits, some look nice, but this one looks horrible. I am also not one to try to make my simple 4 door saloon look like one of the most badass nissan coupes ever. However I think my car looks pretty aggressive as is, proof you don't need a ridiculous bumper to look clean and aggressive.

Trust me, I went through the same phase as you. I had underglow on one of my cars, sadly.

I now regret blowing the $300 because I could've put that toward something far more worthwhile. Especially with the type of car I put it on.

Just give it some more thought.

Edit: The best way to start on the Max if you really want to mod it is with a short ram, followed by your basic header/testpipe/catback setup. You'll squeeze about 20-30 HP out of that with a retune.

Then go for an underdrive pulley.
hey now there aint nuthin wrong with ownin a 5.5 gen at 17. i happened to build mine practically from the ground up.........bought it all myself too and at 17.....

I also got my 5.5 at 17 (just turned 18) but i really believe that a maxima is a car that looks its best when it is as close to stock as possible. Don't get me wrong, A modded maxima can look pretty good. Zero2Sixty has the PERFECT setup (I strongly believe that car is sex on four wheels..)

To the OP- This is an official Honda Civic thread...........

Nah. Fun is fun, but when people boil over into road rage it can seem kind of sad. Poor kid.

Im new to this Forum, and i'm not sure if anyone has asked this question. Is there a way to make the Maxima All Wheel Drive?

I've seen the AWD taken from a Lancer Evolution put into an Mitsubishi Eclipse. I was wondering if it could work with Skyline and a Maxima.

I am new to this forum, can i get an air intake for our cars? And I just got one of them vortex fuel savers, my neighbor sold it to me for 45.99! What a steal.

Also is saw this S!KK bodykit for a civic, do they have something like that for our cars?

And one last question, i saw this movie, it was James Bond or something and they had a Lotus that could drive underwater, how can we convert our car into that?

I never said there was.

I got the 5.5 as my first car when I turned 16. It was a birthday present. All the aftermarket stuff, however, I paid for by myself.

However, the difference between you and OP, is the fact that you invested your own money into building your car. He wasn't...he was spending mommy and daddy's money on his mods.
