We're expecting a batch of Cattman headers to arrive around the end of next week - most are sold already, but there are 3-4 still available. The price is regularly $849.99, but if you order in advance there's a $50 discount (and we still don't charge your CC till we have the part).

We have versions for all the 95-03 Maximas (and 95-04 I30/I35), they're virtually identical - the 95-01 versions having EGR ports, and the 2001.5-2003versions don't.

Let me know if you have additional quesions. We take most of our orders over the phone, 520.575.6195, open 9:30-5:30 MST/PDT M-F.

Make sure you enjoy them as much as possible. Otherwise they'll deteriorate sooner hehe.

Seriously though, I didn't know there was anything you needed to do... Move somewhere where there isn't any road salt?

Gave Brian a call today to talk headers and I didn't realize the work that goes into the installation of them(6+ hrs easy at a shop). So needless to say it looks like I'll be starting with the 3" cat back and will add the headers at a later date- probably late winter into early spring.

I also just wanted to add that he was very helpful and informative- also easy to talk to. He was a stand up guy that seemed more concerned about arming customers with knowledge and quality products rather than just trying to make a sale.

I am crunching some numbers but I think I will pull the trigger either tomorrow or Wednesday for the 3" cat back system- the headers will just have to wait... for now...

Hey Guys. New to the forum. I have a 2000 Maxima. I just got Tokico Illumina's and S-Tech Springs that are going to lower the car by 1.4 inches all around. I am looking into getting Enkei EDR9's in 17 or 18's. Will the 18's cause fender rub? And also, I would perfer they just fit on (no customization). What is the best width and offset to use? Width options are 7, 7.5 or 8 and offset is either 45mm or 38mm. Thanks for the help. Need to know so I can order.

You should look at the two threads for your answer and not just post in a random thread as this will make people angry with you !

You've got to be kidding. Have you EVER used the internet before??? If yes, you should at least have a general idea of how forums work. You don't just go posting in random threads asking questions. I don't mean to contribute to giving you a negative maxima.org first experience, but come on, at the very least try searching the forum first.

I gained 2 mph and 2 .10s in the 1/8th mile over what my current best 13.01@106 1/4 mile run was through the 1/8th. Haven't hit a 1/4 mile track yet to see how that plays out for the last half of the track.

Sounds awesome......(.2 sec) and 2 mph that's pretty impressive.....How's the street mannerism? Hope it's pretty tractable and linear.....Most ppl that enlarged their intake plumbing picked up bottom end torque.....

OMG

I just placed my order for the 3" cat back last night only to wake up to a troublesome fridge that is kaput..

I need to call Brian and see if I can cancel my order so I can buy a new refrigerator tonight >.<

I will now have to wait til after the holidays before I can purchase some mods. I know this may set back some orders and I apologize but this was out of my control...

Come on man that 3" Catback is more important than that refrigerator! LOL....On a serious note you can save alot of money going to a scratch and dent appliance depot....like a $1300 frig for only $400 because of a small scratch or dent it received during shipment...GL dude

Tell me about it...

I've been so excited and anxious to get this car Mod list going. I feel bad for going back on my order but I just can't swing it until a later date

I will have to start with some more inexpensive mods. This throws off my plans because I always like to start with exhaust components. I just never factor factored an appliance clause into my budget or list >.<

I haven't noticeably lost any low end or partial throttle power, if that is what you are getting at. It feels strong from idle to 7k+ and is extremely responsive.

Yeah, sure you can buy my '02 6MT. I'll have it all washed and ready to go when you pick it up.

Seriously, if you've been following this thread, you saw the key "8th order" pop up and evaporate due to a refrigerator death (if you go for the scratch and dent deals be SURE you also buy the extended factory warranty, whatever caused the small dent can have a large impact on the lifespan of the appliance). But I'm probably going to move on this batch anyway with the objective of completion and shipping before 25 December. [The only source of a delay would be if we saw a couple of the backorders evaporate when we go for the deposits.]

This will be a small batch of 10 units, so if you've been holding back on a purchase, call ASAP, because there won't be any available by the time fabrication is complete. We take orders by phone at 800.759.9920, open 9-5 MST, M-F (though I'll be closed till mid-afternoon tomorrow, 18 November).

As always, I greatly appreciate the positive vibes and support you guys provide. Really means a lot to me.

Brian

This is due to the quality parts and service you provide for the maxima community.

What would we have without this guy around? Megan? OBX? Custom Maxima?

I just did this today and I cant believe the difference it makes. It also seems to have brought down the in-cabin volume too.

75 dollar craigslist fridge > brand new fridge (and you can get newer ones, rich ppl just throw **** out)

In fact, specifically buy an old fridge if you want it to last lol.

We still have the kenmore from when I was born. I'm 26.

Now, for on topic: Gimme my exhaust now! *throws tantrum*

I bought a frig with a small scratch on the side, for 1/3 the actual cost.....It's been in service for 13 yrs thus far....That's how I saved to buy my 3" Cattman catback.....I knew Brian was gonna start making Maxima performance parts way back in 1997...And I even knew he was gonna build a HELLUVA 3" CATBACK back then for a car that didn't exist yet!!!!!LOL

I don't think I could find something like this on CL or for under 700 tho

The full exhaust will happen soon enough- hopefully in time for the spring.

No doubt aftermarket hangers are the way to go with this 3" setup. There's just not enough clearance for the spongy stock hangers to satisfy, even with perfect fitment.

Yeah. I had the stock on there for like 2 days until my Walker hangers showed up. Even those are showing signs of abuse, the one hanger on the driver's side of the muffler was shot in 2 months, so I replaced...which helped. The hose clamps worked like a charm.

Yeah, I should consider that (LR Housing) and a SAFC or Neo to tune it since it doesn't look like there will be any options for a reflash......I would trust JWT but I'm not sure they'll teach the 02-03 Maxima ecu's since TS is running from the A/T reflash!!!!!!!!!
