i hope its not ricer-ish!

that's the route im taking for my soon to be max. 6000k HID's for the low beams and 3000k HID's for the fogs!

About 97% of members who have modded their fogs on here have yellow HIDs in their fogs. Check the sig.

It's not rice. I think it's a hell of a lot nicer accent than the fogs matched to the 6000k headlights.

IMHO, I think a car like your M45 with 6000k low-beams and 3000k fogs would look downright gorgeous. Even better than the Max does...

I think it is personal preference. If you like the look and that's all that's important, then do it. The 3k fogs won't hurt visability and if you live/drive in an area where there is a lot of actual fog, then it would probably be a good and safe idea to install this temp/color.

IMO, I think it looks fine, but I prefered a whiter light and increasing my night time visability. I live in East TN and drive back roads...so increased front and side visability was my primary concern. I rarely drive in foggy conditions. Cosmetically, I have no preference for 3k over 5k fogs.

BTW: IMHO, rice is 3k in the headlights...especially when the fogs yellow, and even more ricey when the fogs are still white.

for looks, 3000k. as said earlier, 97% of max owners with fogs made them yellow one way or another.

for output, 5-6000k would be the best.

That's true. I have 5000K HID for my headlights, I just got my fog lights installed about three days ago. I ordered some 3000K for my fogs but just my luck, I crashed into an FJ Cruiser last night (when I got home, my 3000K bulbs had just arrived ) so now I have to wait for my car to get fixed (if insurance doesn't get gay). My fogs have the yellow housing so I hope they look good when my HID's are on

output in fog is going to be better with yellow fogs. it is functional. more functional than 5-6000k fogs.

it's all about preference. my opinion? if 97% of the cars here have yellow fogs, then I dislike 97% of the fog lights here. my headlights and fog lights match, that's just me.

Agreed, Match, especially if you have the chance to match HID to HID and not HID to Incandesent

i have a white max with entire classic stillen kit with 6000k up top and 6000k in fogs with hid kit. love the way it reflects off the pearl white and groves on stillen lip fog holes. i love driving at dusk and just rocking the fogs. looks sweet.

no offence cause i did like the yellow at one time but the yellow ones now remind me too much of the OLD lexus is300 and everything i do to m car is to make it look fresh and more current or new.

so what did you end up going with?

i prefer function over form, and have 3000k foggies. i do like the look of a matching head/fog setup tho. i may purchase some 4300k bulbs and swap em out just to see the visual difference myself

I had Lamin-x yellow over stock fogs and I liked it. Although I did get tired of the yellow fog look and went to 6000K.
