I been looking on the forums and no one has a working link on how to install a auto-dimming mirror in the 2K SE thats has non auto-dimming. I have the harness and everything and just need to know what steps to go about installing. If someone has a working link or has done the procedure and give me steps and tips it would be greatly appreciated.

Well, i thought all's you had to do with just a auto dimming one was run the harness down to a accessory fuse near the drivers side area? It's easy running the harness under the headliner near the windshield and the pillar piece pulls out. Take a pic of the harness and I could tell you what to install where, also give the model # of that mirror. Is it a pyrex or something like that? i forget the brand.

 

how do you go about removing the mirror thats on my car now? I see it doesnt have a hex screw like the auto-dimming one. Is their some type of release latch somewhere under the mount that I could maybe get a flathead screwdriver in?
