Install some in my 2001

Is it possible to install some in my 2001 maxima, with needing extra battery power or anything.

yup, hids actually draw less power than standard halogen bulbs. except for at startup but lets not confuse things. you are fine with the oem electrical system.

Look for some used fogs or just order an entire foglight kit from Courtesy Nissan which will include 2 foglight assy, relay, and light switch stalk....just remember to apply a laminate film to the foglight lense for longterm durability....
