nope.

 

you have to do a bumper and hood swap to have the 02-03 grill. The grill on the 00-01 is part of the bumper and isn't removable unless you cut it off

Is the hood on the 5.0 and 5.5 gen different? i always thought it was but i just looked at some pictures of them both and they look identical.

couldn't tell you how...but it can be done. I would assume one would have to cut away the perimeter ring on an 01.
