Pretty much any aftermarket headlights with projectors have horrible light output. It would be cheaper and you'd get better results from doing what Feldman did. I know it's a bit more complicated than just slapping the headlights on but it's well worth the effort.

*Note: They might be HID's but you would still get hot and cold spots due to the quality of their projectors making the light output far less than what you would get with the Mercedes, BMW, etc... projectors.

I SO MUCH prefer the look of the stock assembly over any kind of aftermarket crap, and I dont like the look of a low beam assembly that's a smaller diameter than a high beam

I SOOO AGREEEE! That is the main reason why I do not want aftermarket projectors because I hate the way they look. Horrible.

I see what you mean. I am actually thinking about doing that, but instead maybe getting some of the projectors and replacing the projectors themselves to the E55's, and possibly removing the halo's.

Halos are like those RIDICULOUS fender vents... they look tacky as $hit on anything other than a car that ORIGINALLY comes with them... halos are for BMW's, and fender vents are for buicks.

AMEN T!! Damn, do I hate those STUPID vent things. Espcially when there is a sh*t load of them on one car. But I also agree with you on the halo's. Just leave them to the Bimmer or on a stock car. The aftermarket ones look ridiculous. That's why I will most likely take them off if I do get the Halo projector. Remove the halo's, and swap out the projectors...
