**** shifters: Levoc or Razo?
do you guys prefer Levo or Razo **** shifters for automatic? I'm thinking of purchasing one but not sure which one to get. Do the **** shifters eliminate the function of Overdrive?

Razo on a 4th gen.
It's not worth the $115 that I paid for it. And I didn't really like how the Levoc looks. Too thin for me.
If I were to do it all over again, I would keep the stock shifter. But I keep the Razo on cause I paid $115 for it. If I don't use it, I feel like I've blown $115.

You could do it... but you would have to do a little customizing and get creative with the shifter.

If you slide it down too far and overtighten the allen head hold-downs, it will push down on the lockout mechanism and keep it permanently disengaged. Neat, yes. Poor-man's tiptronic? maybe. Dangerous? defintely.
Hope this helps,

Yes you can. One 4th gen on the Org has pictures of his setup.

can the OD switch be rewired away from the shifter onto like a rocker switch or something, so that we can have a more variety of shifters we can replace with. cuz i really wanna go with the pseudo-5spd look.

Re: what don't u like about it?
It's not that it doesn't look good, it's the fact that it's $115 and the material feels kind of cheap. It's not worth that much money and I feel disappointed in the product.
And it's easier to powershift with a stock shifter, IMHO.

Re: Re: Re: what don't u like about it?
If you can find it for less than $115, which is extremely unlikely, I would say go for it.
But I looked high and low and $115 was as low as I could find it (at http://www.optauot.com).

Re: Re: Re: Re: what don't u like about it?
the thing is, if you don't like it cause it looks kinda cheap because of the material, i don't know if i'd put it on even if it cost $25...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: what don't u like about it?
lol ... ok, it isn't that cheap. But putting your hand around a Razo and then putting your hand around a Levoc, the Razo "feels cheaper".
The Razo is a nice looking shifter. I just didn't like how the Levoc looked, that's all. It's just a matter of opinion. So I decided to get the Razo.
But I'm sure you could buy a nice looking shifter for a 5 speed and rig up a switch for the o/d.
