Found a new Megan Racing catback...

...and got it installed last week. There was a guy local to me that had one sitting in the package for a while now, but is selling his car. Sounds pretty good.

Simple mods: Stillen PopCharger, NWP spacers, and the MR cat-back.

Take a listen:

Not to bump, but is there any drone on the highway? The OE-RS sounds like a great deal and they look to be back in stock.

I have megan oe-rs, a little bit of drone sometimes on highway, but most of the time it doesn't. Not too loud or quiet, just the way I like it.

Thanks for the response. Do you have any other exhaust mods or are you still stock other than the catback? I have been searching and noticed that other parts make a huge difference.

I get a little bit of drone between 2000-2500 rpm, but it's not obnoxious. Yes, other than the catback, the rest of the exhaust is stock.

Thanks for the sound comments. I think I'm going to pick one up. I can hear that my stock unit is starting to slowly go.

Worst case, I can use the Megan B Pipe and throw on a different axleback if the drone is too much. I do a lot of long distance driving on the weekends.

Resonated tips would solve most of the drone. Would suck to have to remove the nice Megan tips, but it would definately assist with drone...
