I got my HID....

The 2k2 HID I ordered finally arrived. I am going to install it real soon.... but I do face a problem. The connnector for my signal lights does not fit the 2k2 unit. for those of you who have successfully installed 2k2 lights, can you give me the part number of the connectors? Also, if I wanted to change my high beam to PIAA extreme, which bulb type should I choose?

Is there an extra pin that is not making the connector fit? And you would need a PIAA 9005 bulb for the high beam.

You should have gotta that signal connector with the lights, if not, you need to order that part from DaveB. And make sure you got the other two connectors, like the HID connector and the high beam plug.

Well, I have all the signal connectors. The only problem is that the connector for the indicator lights seems to be the wrong ones. it is symetrically opposite of the correct one. I am leaving Town soon and is in a hurry to get the whole thing installed. So i was hoping that I could get it from my nissan dealer in houston.

it is not an extra pin... it is an extra piece of bulge that is in the wrong side.

I used your write up to get the wire colors and stuff and then did the turn signals, parking lights, and Xenons just like you did. For the high beams, I decided to go all out and get power directly from the battery so I used two in-line fuses with two Hella relays. Basically, the high-beams work off their own circuit with the driver side H4 harness high beam switched ground as the trigger for the relays. Works like a charm...

I haven't done the alarm fix yet.... maybe later, but for now it's all good. Your write-ups and IceY2k1's stuff helped out a lot! Thanks!

if you want to change to that setup, I'll help you out with it. It worked great. The relays fit in the relay box right behind the driver headlamp and there was even space to run wires in and out of the box underneath. It is probably overkill, but oh well
