2000 auto tranny problem

I have a 2000 gle auto with 188*** miles on it and the past month has started to act up. When it is cold, it shifts hard out of first at high rpms and then second to third slips. after it warms up, say 5 to 10 minutes of driving, everything goes back to normal with a slight 2 to 3 slip. I have replaced the rev sensor and replaced the trans filter and all fluid. What do you guys think it might be. Thanks in advance.

Can't say I know what the problem is for sure, but I had similar probs in my 00 SE, 188k miles. Do you give it a chance to warm up before driving it because when I turn the car on & go, the shifter is hard as hell.

I believe the 2nd to 3rd slip problem is related to the TCM. Just do a search for 2nd to 3rd slip, or TCM, and a myriad of threads will pop up.
