Also, I heard that the Ebay halos have a better light pattern than the stock 00-01 headlights.. so i wanted to check it with someone that has them installed..
Hi,
What are the headlights? I bought a pair of Sylvania 9600 ultra to replace a burnt out factory "Wagner HB4 9006 DOT 12v 55W" Halogens. But the Sylvania 9600 were really dim almost unusable...are yours Halos, or HIDS, they look really bright and nice. I got the Sylvania from O'reileys, the sales person said the 9600 were the brightest they have, but they are worse than the factory...I am looking or the exact same factory now.

like BIGC said they give off a glare, which actually is a good thing.. i will try to get a pic of the light output soon cause im out of town right now.
I love the look of you headlights and would like to make mine look the same. But i cant seem to find any non projector halos on ebay are they just hard to find? And did it require alot of work or did you just replace the bulbs with hids?

Hellz yeah. I got them ebay CCFL halo rings and they were about $40X4 shipped. I already had the converter from a previous purchase that I clearly over paid for. Lil advice, order an extra pair just incase you break in on the install.

Mine looks like headlights in the night. This is actually just the halo's alone

If you are set on getting these, I strongly urge you to retrofit them. Lighting is very scattered and have an incredible amount of flare. Halos are rather lame, although I didn't bother doing anything to them because they are vey low-key. I'm just going to let them die out. Here's pics of them with 6000K HID's.

Here's the same housings, retrofitted with G37 projectors:

yea the ebay halo headlights are garbage, the halo rings in them are dim as s***. I had to take mine out and replaced them with LED Strip halos, they looked good for about a month and then the LED's slowly went out one by one. I just ordered some SMD LED halos which claimed to be brighter and better than CCFL, we'll have to see once I get them installed.

Ok, so let me see if I got this strait, we can buy the halo/projector headlamps but they will initially be garbage until you swap some G37 projectors in ?

Alright But how are you suppose to get the eBay projectors out and the G37 projectors in ?
Do they simply unscrew from the back of the eBay headlight ?

The g37 projectors make a hell of a difference in the ebay housings !
Any chance you can show us a few more pics of the g37 projectors in action ?

The idea is that simple, but NOT that simple in reality. You have to crack the headlights open, take the Ebay projector out, drill more holes to mount the G37 in, aim, aim some more, then lock it down. This is probably the easiest way to retrofit on 00-03 Maxima since the EBaY projector Headlights already have the bracket for their junk projector. Eurodriver did a good job fitting these projectors in, its tight but do-able.

Here is my current setup, Ebay Reflector Style Headlights with G37 on low beam slot and RX330 on high beam slot.

If I get some time tonight, I will take a picture of the light output on the non-projector D-Spec (eBay). I have them on my 5.5 because the previous owner replaced the factory headlights with factory 5 gen headlights and didn't wire them up right. I didn't like the look at all, so I changed them. I wish I had bought factory headlights to replace them. I still plan on replacing my headlights with factory originals in due time. The light scatter on the eBay ones is horrendous.
