Pressing out A/C compressor pulley bearing???

Hello,

I've had some nasty noice coming from my A/C compressor clutch bearing for a while now. Finally too everything apart to get the bearing replaced, but it seems like there are multiple small metal flaps bent in the manner that they would prevent the bearing from getting pressed out... Is there a way to get that bearing removed or am i missing something?

Thanks.

You need to remove those stakes with a small stone on a dremel tool or something like it. You could simply overcome them by pressing the old bearing out, but the residue would prevent the new bearing from pressing in properly.
