Alright currently got the headers on...but for some reason the rear portion of the y is about a half inch from bolting up.... can't get it to line up for the love of all things HOLY can anyone offer any recommendations? And please don't say he put the headers on the wrong side lol.

My boy is doing this for me while I'm driving to Ca...thanks for any help..

 

You sound like you didn't loosely install all the bolts then tighten them down....Don't tighten down anything until all bolts are installed......

 

^ +1, fit it all up loose then start to tighten

O man that's tough. My first header install attempt (in car from the bottom lol) took me like 14 hours.

Lol they got that now he says there's an oil line in the way. They hate the car...that's the next to last text I got last night lol.



Front is in. We r currently cursing u in a voodoo ritual we found on google. We r getting ready to do the rear in a few. More beers were needed

 

just tell them to loosen everything and I would tighten the 3 bolt flanges first then, the exhaust manifold nuts and last the cat flange........It's close to the oil line but not hitting it....be sure to thermally protect that coolant hose for the oil cooler assembly next to the ypipe loop turn......

 

Good day it seems headers are installed and no cel appreciate the help yall...now if I can just get that utec cable in I'd be in business
