Look at what DressUpBolts.com is starting to sell:
Seems to be a brand new product line... no pics or prices yet, but Chris @DressUpBolts says they'll be available starting next month.
It's not something I'm particularly interested in, but with the right kind of rim, Ti-lugs would look really good, I bet.

I'm planning to swap the motor this Winter, so I will be tackling the bay with cleaning and anti-rust supplies hardcore.

There's a guy in Canada selling bling for the Nissan Z-cars. His company goes by the name "Zee-Toyz", and he's designed a dipstick cover that's pretty interesting looking: http://www.zeetoyz.com/round-dip-stick.htm
Turns out, if you ask, you can get the cover without the "Z" on it, nice and clean. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect, but I gave it a shot, and I'm really happy. It's construction is a solid, light aluminum, no plastic at all. The fitment is spot-on perfect. And it's really pretty; (to be on topic here, eh?)
Recently, I painted the dipstick handle black, as part of a total yellow-delete effort in my engine bay. It was fine and all, but almost too stealthy.
Here's the zee-toyz cap, which I'm not actually going to put on my car until spring.
It's a keeper.

Isn't it funny how whenever Spark's posts this picture, all kind of people keep asking the familiar questions about the battery and the SRI? He should do a write-up with all the parts, and be just be done with it. Or start selling the parts as a kit, maybe.

I went to see how this dipstick cover looks on the stick and in the car...
...and it looks awesome! It's a perfect detail to complement the chrome oval outline in the engine cover burger, and the polished lip on the oil cap.
Very happy with this little doohicky.

Here in New England we get sand/salt spray from the roads up into the engine compartment during the winter. The salt makes the Aluminum engine look "crusty". My timing case, and valve covers are in the worst shape. What's the easiest way to clean up the Aluminum parts on the engine, is there some kind of cleaner that'll work?

I WAS thinking of trying "Wheel Brite" cleaner but worry if it'd ruin the paint or hurt anything under the hood like plastic parts, hoses/belts, gaskets or wiring. I.E. sensors, coils, intake etc.

Im up here in NE too. i use Mothers metal polish, after doing some wire brushing to remove the oxidation. I have a large assortment of wire brushes and wire wheels now for cleaning aluminum.
Those titanium lugs look good. I have been wanting to get something to replace the hideous stocks for a while now. Does anyone have any that they recommend.

Nice car, the engine bay looks VERY good! I'll probably have to go a similar route to get mine cleaned up. It's going to be a springtime project, with all the *&%$#@! weather we've been getting.

I bought both front water pipes new from Courtesy Parts a few weeks ago, and they're currently at the powdercoater, with a few other things. Along with the pipes, I bought a replacement hose for the little 5" hose that takes a 90 degree bend from one of the pipes. It's been on my mind what clamps to use, and just now it occurred to me to search for bicycle parts instead of hose clamps.
And I found this thing here, which is a 1" BMX bike seat clamp, which should work just fine on this 1" outer-diameter hose:
How cool is that? I think I'm going to order a couple of them.

Like $50 each one.
They came unpainted. Just black. I sprayed some white primer on them and Red paint. The paint can handle 1500 degrees F. They came out really nice. You might as well get the gaskets from your local dealership though. They're more expensive online actually. I paid about $16 for both gaskets.

I ordered one of these clamps, just one, to test the waters.
And no... it looks completely, utterly stupid.
The flanged area for the bolt is much more prominent than you would think in this picture, and no matter what hose you use it on, or how you "point" the protrusion, it just looks dumb.
All I want is a polished, stainless steel, one inch, t-bolt hose clamp. Why can't I find that?

Maybe I'm looking at this all wrong. Instead if finding attractive clamps, what about clamp "covers"?
