about resetting my ECU...

When I first got my car, I drove like a grandmother (for 1000 miles). After that, I put in a K&N drop-in air filter, and drove hard for about 1.5 miles, and then I got a speeding ticket (my second one). I went back to my old ways of driving like a grandmother. Now, I was wondering whether resetting my ECU and driving really hard for 100 or so miles would give me a difference in performance (even something like better response or higher revving is good enough for me). Will I notice a change for the better if I reset my ECU?

Also, how would I go about resetting my ECU?

PS: I have about 11000 miles right now.

Disconnecting your battery for about 15-30mins or possibly overnitght will reset the ECU...
Although I cant see why you would want to without any mods done...
If you want better response, try adjusting the throttle cable..
If you want higher reving, get a VB, SC, Nitros Oxide, Y-pipe, bigger fuel injection ETC....
