wut up guys got my 02 maxima 6spd outta no where the other day a wire under the hood for the driver side fog light caught on fire. i put it out with water, after that i had no dash lights and car wont start and literaly melted the 10A tail light fuse in the fuse box.

so long story short my eng cont fuse kept blowin. hence me having no dash lights. so i traced the wire thru the wirining harness and rewired it cuz it was melted due to the fog light wire touching it. so the lights came on and started and everything was ok

maybe 2 hours later the car wouldnt crank at all just a click. lifted the hood wiggled some wires and im back in business. an hour later same thing it wont crank at all only this time nuttin helped and had to push start it home.

so did my research and seemed like the starter was bad so took it out tested it and came back the solenoid was bad. so went to pepboys ONLY store in nj that had it stock for 180. so i went and threw it in and it started right up. as i was cleaning everthing up maybe 40 min later go to start it again and same thing no crank at all just a click...... whats weird is that the starter has a male connector and my power wire has 2 male connectors and 1 female connector so idk wuts with that?? anyone have any ideas please please help i cant take it this max is givin me problems every week and i got no more cash.
