Hollow knocking from the back over bumps...
Besides the obvious things, what could be causing that hollow knocking sound from the back when I go over bumps. Ive checked the spare, moulding and misc parts. Nothing...Anything you guys and gals know?

Re: Hollow knocking from the back over bumps...
When I first got my car, the rear rod broke of the muffler hanger...thus causing the tailpipe to knock against the bumper.
That was a good enough reason me to change out the exhaust at the time.
Oh, and be sure your trunk is closed...

ok, i stripped the trunk, and it is still there....It almost sounds like a cookie tray when you try bending it and it pops back into place...Could it be shock mount?
