Engine Mount

I have a 00' max, that was recently in the body shop to get some stuff fixed. They told me where the front motor mount is bolted to the car is rusted and could let go and the engine could fall out and i should replace it because "The 2000 maximas are known for this".

Have any of you replaced yours? Was there a recall I missed? or is this guy full of it? All feedback appreciated. Thanks in advance.

he is talking about the cross member that the mount connects to...the engine will not "fall out"...and i disagree that its a "problem with 2000s"...most places say that to justify a repair...

check it out yourself...if its bad, replace the cross member yourself
