Should these wheels fit???

Have an 02 Maxima and I was looking at wheels and found a nice used set of ASA Sport edition 17x7.5 with mastercraft 235/55/17 wheels. They are 5x114? I know the bolt pattern fits but will the tire size be whats recommended for that tire size?

Its 5x114.3 and yes it will fit BUT side wall is about 1/2 inch bigger so if your not on a "s-tech like drop" you'll be fine. If you can, try to get 235/50/17...its a better fit. Hope that helps.

I don't think there is a 5x114. It's just someone too lazy to type the .3

From what I'm reading, it should work just fine pending offset numbers. And yes, 5x114, 5x114.3, it's all the same. Like someone else said, people are just too lazy to type the out the .3 at the end. I will warn you though, I'm running 55 series tires that came with my car and to be frank, they look horrible. Total stretched bubble gum status, they make the rims look small and silly. I'd look into getting some 45 tires if you pick these up.

I was thinking about going with a 235-50-17. They're a bit taller than the factory 225-50's. I have a 2000 SE 5-sp and it turns 3 grand around 75mph, and I'd like to reduce the rev's a bit to gain m.p.g. and reduce overall engine wear.
