Wind noise, ECU reprogram, other TSBs.
Hi all,
Well, as part of the ongoing law suit that I have against the local Nissan, I got them to perform a couple of TSBs while they were trying to fix the main problem(s).
First, I had them do the ECU reprogram. It's definitely worth it, just to keep from getting whiplash in first gear.
Second, you simply MUST have the "Rear door wind noise" TSB done - it makes a significant improvement in noise reduction at highway speeds.
That's all for now!

The PDF file is in its 'native form' here.

Basically it says what many of us have known for a while - the rear windows had a 'wind leak' caused by a lack of insulation. The fix is easy, and they should have no problem doing it. Still, print it out and take it with you, just in case they say it doesn't exist.
The ECU reprogram takes care of the "Fuel Cut" issue on manual transmissions. It basically keeps the engine from dropping RPMs smoothly, resulting in jerky operation at low speeds.
