Take it from a person that has worked at the parts stores

The warranty will not cover the uninstall/ reinstall of the trans. If you do have to warranty the trans it will be a headache like you never had. Your will prolly have to wait weeks. The chances of a refund are very low. Well If you make it 3 years with no warranty swap then they made serious $$$

Id go with a junkyard, i done a quick search on car-part.com found a ton of autos close to me, best one being 47k for $350

When you get a junkyard trans replace all the seals you can and trans filter, then when its installed add some SEAFOAM TRANS TUNE this will NOT swell the seals it will REMOVE moisture (i recently got a trans from a jy and it was sitting outside)

If you just want to spend money take it to a GOOD trans shop and have them rebuild it? I would assume their warranty would include FIXING/ Replacing parts. If that's what your looking for.

Good luck!

pretty easy on the east coast. im up near seattle, and they sit around 700 plus for decent mileage, hence why i leaned to the zone one. Zip code is 98433. The ones that i pulled for gundies (local yard) magically didnt match the prices he had listed.
im figuring that ill go with the higher stall, new seals, filter, a full flush, and save putting in the transgo until later. I have the valve body with the kit completely seperated from the car currently, and will be keeping that. if it runs fine without it, then ill sell it cheap on the forums. if it becomes an issue ill install it if i experience the flaring issues.
needless to say i miss va, could junkyard all day, out here you cant even walk the yards.

trannys in. the torque convertor from edge will be here on the 11th. should be back mobile by next thursday. tired of driving the commander...

Looking at it, should have just gone with a boneyard tranny. shrug, you live and you learn. currently cleaning and prepping to paint the tranny ...black. Just to match up with the scheme of things lol...from there should be a new ride. hopefully i didnt get too high of a stall.
