brake issues!!

ight i change my rotors and pads when i was decompressing the piston bak i ****ed up my boot..

so i was like it shouldnt hurt.. one day i was driving after driving wit the messed up piston boot for bout 2 weeks one of my boys was like you ya wheel looks like its wobbling> so i had him drive bak and forth and sure nuff it was.. so i checked the lugg nutts they were tight so next thing i was looking at was the caliper. and it was compressing in and out just driving normally and had a really bad sqeak with it also..

so i went ahead and changed the caliper blead the system and drove round for a day and the sqeaking is bak... i look at the caliper and the bracket that holds the pads in is broken in half.. so i change it out.. no sqeak fo a couple days and then it comes bak again i didnt pay it anymind for a lil bit untill i started getting pulsations in my brake pedal when i braked at low speed.. so i get home and i taker er thing off and notice the outside pad is worn really badly (just the outside caliper) i switch em around cause i couldnt deal with the issue at that moment started driving and still the sqeaks.. pulse is gone for now but i know its gonna come bak.. any idea wat it could be?

generally one pad worn more than the other is a sticking caliper. Possibly caused by the torn boot. Pulsation in the pedal is usually warped rotors, but you said you changed those so the other possible problem could be wheel bearing/s. If you're still getting squeaks then make sure you applied anti-squeal on all moving parts of the caliper.

Sounds like two different problems:

A. You previously had a broken component or something was missed on the reinstall. I don't give much merit to coincidences so I would guess the caliper bracket was not tightened securely(or something to that effect).

B. You need to purchase a replacement caliper or rebuild the existing one. The piston boot is there for a reason. It keeps debris from damaging the seal as well as entering the hydraulic system. A damaged or missing boot is often the root cause of a sticking caliper.

Fortunately, all problems should be fairly easy to resolve. Rebuild caliper, replace pads and brake hardware, and install everything being careful to take your time and follow the FSM guidelines. If it is a coincidence and it's not your brakes, check for axial play or flat spots in the wheel bearing.
