Exactly what I was thinking... Not making any accusations at all, but it's probably better to stick with a licensed, bonded locksmith for this kind of thing. They will charge you about $50, which still beats the snot out of stealership prices.

u know im a skeptic too.. but seriously. i have been doin auto electronics for about ten yrs now.. if i wanted to steal someones car i woudlnt try to sell them a key first.. and aside from that.. im not a follower. i dont want someone elses car ... i want my own car wich shows my uniqueness. i havent tryed all the different brand keys. i just purchased a ebay key to try on my 02. and i havent worked out a fee for this service yet. as i just started this venture. mainly to increase remote starter sales as many customers cant supply the secondary key required for most installations.

It's nice of you to make the offer. I just wish you weren't 1500 miles away from me.

One piece of advice to OP: if you don't happen to get it right on the programming, or if you don't have the correct codes, then the car will be immobilized and won't start at all. Then it will be your obligation to pay for fixing it.

Yes, what would happen in this aspect?

I had my beater (99 honda) done including key cut for $50. I asked him about maximas and he had to think about it because some he can't do. He did do a maxima one time (he forgot year) and the car wouldn't start. The computer had to be reprogrammed and costed the locksmith $450 to replace it..all on the locksmith!

I work in WEstchester. I'm down as long as you can cut the keys and guarantee that the car will start
