turn signal issue

The headlights blink a bit when I turn on the turn signals and does it again when they go off. The clock and radio lights do it too. The car has a new battery, that was installed just last winter by the previous owner. Is the alternator going? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If you have an ampmeter start doing some tests. It sounds like it could be a drain issue. Does it do it if you have only the lights on, or only the radio on, not both? Keep us informed.

I think, it's the 'combination switch' - the one you use for turn signal. The power to headlights goes through the same switch, just different contacts. Sounds like those contacts got dirty/loose and don't provide good contact when nearby switch changes its state. I noticed the same on my car, doesn't bother me yet.

Thanks guys. Where is the combination switch? I only notice it when the lights are on. It makes the clock, radio and heater lights flash, and now sometimes the radio screen stays bright after the blinker turns off. I have to use the dimmer to get it to go back to normal. Any ideas?

Inside your turn signal lever. The entire assembly comes off from the steering column with a couple screws or bolts (can't remember which). Take the steering column cover off and you'll see the screws or bolts.

Mine had the same symptoms and I just replaced the entire assembly with a used one I found on here. It has been fine ever since.
