Whether you go with BC, D2, K sport, Greddy, Tanabe, Megan, and about 10 other companies, they are still the basic level coilovers. Unless your doing serious racing and upgrading to the more sophisticated designed coilovers its all pretty equal. A few differences here and there. If you really want something that will make a difference Tein SS or KW. None of the other companies come close to match either the KW or Tein. We run the KW on our track car and the TEIN SS EDFC on our other car.

WE have used Megans, we have used D2, K sport, etc. Save a few extra weeks pay and go for a company like that if you want quality and performance

-D2 uses pillowball mounts made with steel bearings. Rubber is crap.

-D2 uses 52mm shock bodies. BC does not.

-All D2 Coilovers have locking collars.

-Fully rebuildable in the U.S. with an outstanding customer service and 2 warehouses in the United States.

BCR is made in China. The rear lower mounts on BC are all steel where as the rear lower mounts on D2 is aluminum. Aluminum is more expensive and lighter.

Seems like someone got this thread off track a little. I believe almost everything said above is true for the BC coilovers as well. Sparks already said something about it tho. I have had them on my car for less than a month but they have about 3,000 miles on them. I am very happy with them and although I've never had any other setup besides Ksport lowering springs, I believe anyone would be happy with these coilovers. Even for $1000 they are a great deal.

Im getting ready to jump on the BC c/o GD as well. I wonder if the pillowball mounts are noisy like Ive read all pillowballs are. Anyone one have noises with pillowballs? anyone have noises with the rubber mounts?

Hmmm. I wonder, can we get both and try switching them out?

No issues with the pillowball mounts - you just need to tighten them up from the factory.

Do these require stock mounts? Or anything else I might need?

If anyone is looking for BC, we get them custom built to your specs. We are a authorized retailer and we also race on BCs. They are our primary sponsor. If you are looking for a street, drag or road course/auto x setup, let us know.

We've sold over 60 sets to B15 (SE-R) owners. You can reach us at www.2j-racing.com, and sales@2j-racing.com (email)

Thx
Joe

I have a very loud 'creak' in front left c/o when backing out of at the end of the driveway with my wheels turned full left(it is the last wheel to leave the driveway). I am also going down a lil curb, when it makes the noise. Ihave checked everything., except the top bolt with FSM torque specs. Dont know wut those r supposed to be.
