Freeze Plug Replacement

Freeze Plug Replacement
Any write-ups or info you guys know about? I haven't been able to find anything. The freeze plug on my maxima, behind the alternator and waterpump, popped out. It's so hard to see up in there. I'm not sure what I need to remove to be able to put a new one in. It looks like the upper and lower intake needs to come off. Also, what's some good preventative maintenance to do while in there? Preciate the help.

Just did plugs and wires 2 weeks ago, and just did new belts and thermostat today. Still looking for some kind of engine diagram that has freeze plug location. I don't even know how many are on the engine, or if there's some in the heads.
That's what I liked about my old 350 Small Blocks... plugs right on the side, plain sight. But its not nearly as smooooooth as this VQ!

vq30 engine diagram
Anyone have a link to a good diagram of the vq30, or pics of one that shows the locations of the freeze plugs. I can't even see them while the engine is in the car, so it would be major helpful. Thanks.
