I found a great deal for 245/50/17s. I know a lot of people run 235/50 and 235/45, but anyone runing 245/50s?

It's such a great deal, I hate to let it pass.

 

Aren't 245's 9.5" wide? Seems like too much for a 7" wide wheel.

 

245's are fine on a 7". I had 245-45-17 on my stock 17's before swapping to G35 coupe 17's (17x7.5 and 17x8) and had no issues with them being mushy or looking fat (bubbled). Fit nicely.

I'd be more concerned with the 50 series. Seems too tall to me.

225-50-17 SE Stock
235-45-17 slightly smaller than stock diameter
245-45-17 almost identical diameter as stock
245-50-17 slightly larger than stock diameter
