How to get rid of the door chime
Do you know the part number (or descriptive name) for the mechanics of the in-cabin air filter? I'd be curious to price one if the housing is empty but haven't seen such a part online. I've learned my Maxima was built in 7/00 and lacks a few package options like heated side mirrors.
Would a 12 watt bulb harm the the map light rated for 10 watts? I bought the 12 before finding an OEM 10 volter which I installed. I'd prefer the brighter light but not at the risk of another fuse.
Do you know where the fuse / circuit related to the front passenger seat warmer is? I cleaned and checked the connections under the center console but didn't think these were them. I assume most wiring is under the seat?

The in-cabin air filter is currently a 2 piece filter. It used to be on piece. As far as I know, all you need to do is get the filters, no mounting hardware. They are pretty easy to find, so I'm guessing you didn't use the right words in your search.
The Nissan part number is 999M1-VP004 and will run around $40 for the 2 sections. After-market prices are all over the place, from $9 to $45. But always make sure you are getting both sections, some places sell just one section.

Map Light:
Two additional watts isn't going be any problem for the fuse, no where near close. There is always another consideration to take into account when you use a higher wattage light bulb, whether it be in your car, your house, private yacht or anyplace. More watts creates more heat. If the bulb is in a small, closed area, the extra heat could melt plastic enclosures. The extra heat will also shorten the life of a light bulb. But in this instance, I seriously doubt that 2 watts will be of any concern.
Fuse:
The heated seats use fuse # 9, a red 10 amp fuse. It is in the top row of fuses, 3rd one from the right end.
